Trivia

  • In Animal Crossing, Thou.K. does in fact say his name is Totakeke, but prefers to simply be known every bit Thou.K. Slider. However, he has not mentioned this in subsequent English language releases.
  • K.K. is based on an Beast Crossing audio designer, Kazumi Totaka. In Japanese civilization, the family name is said earlier the personal proper noun; his name therefore is said Totaka Kazumi in Japanese. That tin be shortened to "Totaka K.," which sounds similar "Totakeke."
  • In New Leaf he has the voice of a lazy villager.
  • In New Horizons he has the voice of a smug villager.
  • In Animal Crossing, K.Thou. will appear in a spot-lighted room if a memory card has not been inserted or if the game's clock needs to be reset.
    • He is too the first grapheme the player sees when they play the game 'for the first time' (if the memory card has no Animal Crossing data on it, every bit if they are making a town for the first fourth dimension). K.K. will welcome the player to the globe of Animal Crossing. He will talk about how absurd information technology is to exist living on your own, merely mentions that information technology can exist lonely. He tells the role player they tin can 'invite more friends' (create upward to 3 more characters) to movement in to the town and so they won't be as solitary. Later on that, the histrion will be greeted by a villager of their boondocks to start upwardly the game, unless at that place'southward no memory menu or the clock needs to reset, equally stated above.
  • One of Chiliad. One thousand. Slider's songs is actually a song called Totaka'southward Vocal, made by the Brute Crossing sound designer. The vocal appears in a lot of games he has worked on. In the Animal Crossing games, Totaka's song is referred to as Chiliad.K. Song.
  • He appears alongside Rosie and Tom Nook in the 2010 Nintendo Collector's Edition of Monopoly.
  • When talking to a player, he volition alter his rhymes and phrases depending on the gender(for instance: to a boy, "My ax is hot to play, so cop a seat, Pete." to a girl, " My axe is hot to play, and then cop a chair, Claire."). Pete and Claire are the names of two of the male and female protagonists from Harvest Moon, a life simulation video game series that is sometimes compared to Animal Crossing.
  • According to the G.K. Slider amiibo page, near the end of the info passage, it reveals that Isabelle has a beat out on him, and joking by giving a 'Nobody could blame her, right?' blazon at the cease of the passage.
  • Thou.K Slider shares his birthday with Nana. They both have a birthday on August 23rd.
  • Out of all the animals in the game, he is the only animal to not vesture vesture.
  • In Metropolis Folk, Thou.K.'due south model is designed in such a way that it does not appear properly when implemented (past hacking) in other areas.
    • For example, if (through hacking), his model were set in the place of a graphic symbol that walks upright, one of his legs would exist permanently bent, and 1 of his arms would be disproportionately long.
    • This is because his model is designed assuming Chiliad.Chiliad. volition never announced anywhere else other than in The Roost on Saturday nights. His model is designed to appear correctly when he is on the stool and holding his guitar, but not when walking upright.
  • K.M. is the first character to interact with the role player in the Animate being Crossing series, giving a monologue in the original Doubutsu no Mori and Animal Crossing directly after exiting the title screen for the first fourth dimension. This moment is alluded to in New Horizons, during which M.K. first appears to the player in a dream subsequently their offset mean solar day on the island.
  • In a character popularity poll for Animate being Crossing held past Nintendo in Nippon, 1000.K. Slider ranked 1st with three,112 votes.
  • In early on installments, K.Yard.'s arms are too brusk in-game for his right paw to actually attain the strings of his guitar. In New Leafage, his model's artillery are long enough to attain the guitar strings, but they still do non; his posture does not allow for it, every bit his arm reaches over the end of the guitar. New Horizons corrects the result past adjusting his playing posture, and so his arm reaches over the middle of his guitar instead.
  • In Urban center Folk, some cranky villagers believe that his 24-hour interval job is Phineas, handing out prizes at the Metropolis.
  • 1 of 1000.K.'south quotes from Wild Earth - "Those manufacture fat cats try to put a price on my music, but it wants to be complimentary." - gained notoriety on various news websites, as it was believed to promote illegal file sharing. In response, Nintendo of America'south vice president of corporate affairs at the time, Perrin Kaplan, stated that G.G.'s quote does not reflect the views of the company, only that he is "a free spirit who cannot be bought and sold for any amount of coin."
  • In New Horizons, two stickers can be seen on the back of K.Thousand.'s guitar that feature drawings of Brewster and Dr. Shrunk, likely referencing The Roost and Club LOL, the venues K.K. performed at in previous games. These stickers can only exist seen when listening to K.K. live as the camera rotates around him; all the same, they can be seen more clearly on the textures for K.K.'due south guitar.
